Trustee Election

An Election Year

The Lakeland Catholic Board of Trustees is entering an election year. 

On October 18, 2021, parents will have the opportunity to vote on who will sit on the board for the next four-year term. 

There are three vacancies in Ward 1 (Bonnyville and area), three in Ward 2 (Cold Lake and area), and one in Ward 3 (Lac La Biche - Waskatenau area). Click here to view a map of our ward boundaries. 

 

Nomination Information

The Returning Officer will receive fully completed nomination forms by prior appointment only at the Lakeland Catholic Schools Central Office (4810 - 46 Street, Bonnyville) between January 1, 2021 and by no later than 12:00 pm (noon) on Monday September 20, 2021 (Nomination Day), for the position of seven (7) Trustees.

The Role of a Trustee

School Board Trustees play an important role in providing leadership and guidance to the school division. They're advocates for children and Catholic education, goal setting, short and long-term planning, and policy making.
