COVID-19 School Status

Schools with at least two positive COVID-19 cases who were present at school while infectious will be publicly shared by Alberta Health Services.

Under 18 Daily Checklist

Before leaving the house for school every day, staff, students, and visitors should assess whether they feel well enough to attend the school for any reason. 

Parents/guardians should assess their children daily using the Alberta Daily Health Checklist.

Over 18 Daily Checklist

If student or staff member develop any of the core COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, sore throat - adults only, and runny nose - adults only), they are required to isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms or until they receive a negative COVID-19 test result, as per provincial guidelines.

If your child is a close contact

If your child has come into close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 and is not displaying any symptoms they do not have to isolate.
