Epiphany-also known as Three Kings' Day - is a Christian feast day which falls on 6 January. It is a special date for many Christians as it's when people celebrate how a star led the Magi - also known as the Three kings or the Wise Men - to visit the baby Jesus after he had been born

Fourth Week of Advent 1 John 4:9-16 - "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them."

Card 24
Courage with Mrs. Lanceleve handed out a small gift to all the kids at Holy Cross this afternoon. We would like to thank Imperial Oil and the Mental Health Matters Grant for providing the funding for these small gifts. Each student will receive a candy cane pen and a message about candy canes and how they represent Jesus.

Christmas Break is almost here.

Break
Our Wellness Warriors have been hard at work making cards for the local Food Bank to include with their Christmas hampers. It was important to these leadership students to spread kindness and joy to other families during the holiday season. Thanks to Imperial Oil and their continued support of Mental Health initiatives in our school we were able to come together to create magical moments for our students.
