Holy Name Church at CFB Cold Lake is starting a Youth Group. The first event will be November 14 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm!

Indigenous students in grades 11 & 12 are invited to participate in an Indigenous Youth Employment Workshop on November 17 @ 8:45 am in Room 125.

NAIT will be hosting the following in-person events:

• Dec 2 – Business Night at 6 p.m.
• Dec 3 – Engineering Night at 6 p.m.
• Dec 4 – Digital Media & IT Night at 6 p.m.

These give students a more in-depth experience than Open House, with program-specific info sessions, lab tours, or mix-and-mingle opportunities depending on the area.

Congratulations to Katie Ralph and Evan Seitz, who were selected to be in the Alberta Wind Symphony last month in Red Deer.

Musicians submitted auditions from across Alberta to be considered for this ensemble. What a huge achievement!

This year, 109 grade 9 students from Assumption School participated in Take Our Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, November 5. This was a great opportunity for students to explore the world of work for a day!

Our grade 7 students have been busy exploring the fascinating world of owls!

They investigated the ecological niche and eating habits of these incredible birds, learning how owls fit into the ecosystem and what their diets reveal about their role as predators.

Hands-on learning and curious minds in action - science is definitely taking flight at AJSH!

The Leadership class had an amazing time with Face to Face at St. Dominic's on October 30th where we learnt how to engage students and use our gifts and talents to share our faith while having fun! Thank you for this great experience!
