LAKELAND - Lakeland Catholic School Division will be accepting a national award from the Canadian Association of Communications in Education (CACE) at an upcoming national conference in Montreal, Quebec on October 29, 2023.
The division will be presented a BRAVO! Award at the CACE BRAVO! Awards Ceremony, after submitting a video project created in 2022-23 called Welcome to Holy Family: The Heart of the Community.
The video, which was shared with Alberta’s former Minister of Education Adriana La Grange, was part of the pitch for a new Kindergarten to Grade 12 school in Waskatenau. It features interviews with staff, students, and parents, as well as footage of the facility. Filming, interviews, editing, and production was all conducted in-house.
The BRAVO! Awards are presented annually and recognize and honour “exemplary work in all aspects of school public relations, communications, marketing, and engagement.”
