The Lakeland Catholic School District Board of Trustees is committed to serving the best interests of the students and parents of this Division. Coming from across our Division, Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, and Waskatenau, our Board truly cares about the education of our youth and remains focused on making the right decisions for your children.

Anna Brockhoff is honored to serve as a trustee for Lakeland Catholic School Division. A long-time resident of Cold Lake and parent of two children educated within Lakeland Catholic schools, Anna brings commitment and lived experience to her governance role. Her dedication to Catholic education stems from a belief that faith and learning together shape both hearts and minds.

Anna has served as a trustee for four years, including one year as Vice Chair and one year as Chair. She works full-time for the Department of National Defence at 4 Wing Cold Lake and is actively involved in her parish, volunteering as an Angel’s Liturgy facilitator and with several community organizations including 1st Kinosoo Scouts and the Lakeland Humane Society.

She believes Catholic education offers students the opportunity to grow in both faith and wisdom within safe, caring, and Christ-centered environments. Anna’s hope is to strengthen the faith identity of Lakeland Catholic through authentic connections between parish, school, and family, ensuring that every decision reflects the Division’s Catholic mission and values.

Vince MacDonald

Vice Chair

Vincent MacDonald has served on the Lakeland Catholic School Division Board of Trustees for six years and brings over three decades of experience in education. A lifelong advocate for Catholic schooling, Vincent is committed to continuing the Division’s mission of nurturing faith-filled learning environments that help students grow closer to Christ.

Originally from North East Alberta, Vincent has lived in the region since 1977. He is a member of St. Louis Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Before becoming a trustee, he worked in education for 33 years, including five years in the oil field. Vincent has also served as a teacher, ATA local treasurer, vice-president, and president, as well as vice-president of the Bonnyville Fine Arts Society.

Vincent believes Catholic education is a vital choice for Alberta families — one that fosters both academic excellence and faith formation. His goal as trustee is to continue strengthening Christ-centered education while ensuring schools remain welcoming, compassionate places for all students.

Dana Chaulk

Bonnyville Trustee

Dana Chaulk grew up in Cold Lake and graduated from Assumption High School. After living and teaching in Calgary for over two decades, her family moved to Bonnyville in 2021 to be closer to extended family. A proud member of St. Louis Parish, her children now attend École  Notre Dame High School. Dana is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education at the University of Calgary, driven by her belief in the transformative power of faith-based education to nurture caring, compassionate citizens.

With more than twenty years of experience in education, Dana has taught primarily English Language Learners in Calgary and served as a Career Counsellor at École Notre Dame High School. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Research and Interdisciplinary Studies, along with a Graduate Certificate in Educational Neuroscience and Inclusive Education. She also contributes to the Indigenous Research Circle and the One Child Every Child initiatives at the University of Calgary, supporting Indigenous university students and strengthening community connections.

Actively involved in her community, Dana volunteers with the New Dawn Métis Women’s Society, Rural Mental Health Committee, and sings in both the English and French choirs at St. Louis Parish. She believes Catholic education provides students with opportunities to grow spiritually, academically, and socially through faith and reconciliation.

Jean Marc Michaud

Cold Lake Trustee

Jean-Marc brings a lifelong dedication to faith, community, and service to his role as trustee for Ward 2. Born into a family rooted in the Catholic Church, with priests in his family and a sister serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Baptism in the greater Montreal area, Jean-Marc’s faith has guided him through every stage of his life.

With over 30 years of service as an RCMP officer, 12 years as a driver examiner, and 40 years of involvement in music ministry, parish life, and school councils, Jean-Marc has consistently embodied leadership and compassion. He has also served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and refereed basketball for 25 years at various levels,  a reflection of his commitment to youth and community.

Jean-Marc feels called to serve Catholic education, believing it is one of Alberta’s greatest strengths. He strives to help every child encounter faith in education and believes Christ should be present in every classroom, interaction, and decision.

As a trustee, he hopes to strengthen teamwork and ensure the continued growth of Catholic education, both locally and across the province.

Lana Lambert

Bonnyville Trustee

Lana Lambert is committed to preserving and strengthening the Catholic identity of Lakeland Catholic schools while ensuring every child is supported to learn and thrive. Her motivation to serve stems from a love of both faith and community. Active in numerous parish ministries including K4J, RCIA, Sacramental Prep, Alpha, the Why Encounter, youth outreach projects, the Live-In, and Search, Lana’s experiences have helped her see Catholic education as more than academics, it’s about forming hearts and minds rooted in faith.

With a professional background in sales and project management, Lana brings strong people skills, organizational insight, and a collaborative spirit to her work as trustee. Combined with her experience as a parent and active community member, she approaches her role with compassion and purpose. Her ongoing involvement in the Bonnyville parish community continues to ground her leadership in both faith and service.

Lana believes Catholic education is a special gift, and one that nurtures the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. She hopes to strengthen connections between home, school, and parish, supporting teachers in their vital work and ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their God-given potential.

Donna Cloutier

Lac La Biche/Waskatenau Trustee

Donna Cloutier is serving her second term as a trustee with the Lakeland Catholic School Division. Dedicated to faith formation, fiscal responsibility, and student success, Donna takes her role as an advocate for Catholic education to heart. She is passionate about ensuring that all students have access to quality, faith-based education supported by adequate and sustainable funding.

A longtime resident of Lac La Biche, Donna played an active role in the consensus process that brought Light of Christ Catholic School to the community. She and her husband have three grown children and three grandchildren. Before becoming a trustee, Donna served as a teacher in Lac La Biche for nearly 30 years and co-owned several local businesses. Her compassionate leadership and extensive community experience bring valuable perspective to the boardroom.

Donna has been actively involved in her community, volunteering with the Catholic Women’s League, the Hospital Auxiliary, the Heritage Society, the Quilting Guild, and the Kids R Worth It School Food Program. Her advocacy continues through her work championing new Catholic school construction in Waskatenau and Lac La Biche.

Carla Zohar

Cold Lake Trustee

Carla Zohar has lived in Bonnyville since 1999 and moved to Cold Lake five years ago. With a lifelong career in sales and a growing family, including three children and eight grandchildren, Carla is rooted in her community. She previously served on the Board and looks forward to once again contributing her time and experience as she transitions toward retirement.

She currently serves on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee for Vallen Canada where she helps to steer inclusive practices and culture across the organization. Her commitment to lifelong learning and community involvement reflect her desire to make a meaningful impact in the district.

For Carla, Catholic education plays a vital role in nurturing both faith and values within the whole school environment. Having once taught religion in BC, she appreciates the strength of a Catholic system and the opportunities it provides for children to grow in faith and understanding.

She is eager to bring fresh perspective and renewed energy to her work on behalf of students and families in Ward 2.
