This week, students across several Lakeland Catholic schools were blessed by an uplifting message from Catholic speaker and musician Chris Bray. His words resonated deeply as he encouraged the youth to embrace the truth: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Chris focused on grounding our lives in faith and a relationship with God. He shared personal stories, reminding students that it is through prayer and keeping our focus on Christ that we navigate life’s challenges. He also reflected on the story of the woman at the well, illustrating that Jesus is our living water, offering strength and sustenance through faith.
The entire gymnasium was filled with singing and smiles as Chris led students in songs, making it a joyful and memorable experience for all.
Biology 20 students at Assumption Jr/Sr High School took their learning outdoors with an exciting field study led by the Lakeland Industry and Community Association (LICA). From chilly fun to valuable science skills, our students excelled at investigating the health of our environment! We’re proud to offer such unique, real-world learning opportunities that inspire excellence in every student.
