Incentive Policies
Effective January 17, 2024: Lakeland Roman Catholic Separate School Division provides these incentives to offset costs related to education, relocation, and the transition into our division.
Unless otherwise specified, each incentive may only be accessed once for the duration of an individual's employment and is not available to previous employees.
Hiring Incentive

Practicum Student Incentive
$2,000
Complete your final practicum placement with us and transition into a 10-month contract to receive this bonus.
Relocation Grant
Up to $3,000
Moving to join our team? Depending on your location, you may be eligible for significant relocation funding.
Bursary for Returning Grads
$2,500
We love seeing our alumni return! Lakeland Catholic graduates hired as teachers receive this special one-time bursary.
Subsidized Teacher Housing
Cold Lake
Our division offers comfortable, subsidized housing options specifically for teachers located in Cold Lake.
Northern Alberta Teacher Award

An incentive for recent Bachelor of Education graduates to begin their careers in a northern community.
