LAKELAND - The Lakeland Catholic Schools Board of Trustees have given the 2024-25 Division Calendar their seal of approval.
Following the review and consideration of feedback provided during the online survey process, as well as comments shared by senior administration, school administration, and the Council of School Councils, the board is pleased with the calendar presented.
“We have taken the suggestions provided by staff, students, and our families and used that information to draft what we believe is a balanced calendar for the upcoming school year,” said Board Chair Mary Anne Penner.
Some of the calendar highlights include:
196 operational and 180 instructional days
First Day of Operation is August 26, 2024
First Day of Instruction for Grades 1 through 12 is September 3, 2024
Kindergarten Staggered Start is set for September 3 to 6, 2024 with the first full day of class September 10, 2024
The Four-Year-Old Preschool Program starts September 10, 2024 while the Three-Year-Old Preschool Program starts September 11, 2024
Christmas Break is December 23, 2024 to January 4, 2025
Teachers Convention is February 14 and 15, 2025
Easter Break is April 14 to 21, 2025
Last Day of School is June 26, 2025
Last Day of Operation is June 27, 2025
