Division Calendar
The Board of Trustees approved the 2024-25 Division Calendar following an online survey, and consultation with senior administration, school administration, and the Council of School Councils.
Some of the calendar highlights include:
• 196 operational and 180 instructional days
• First Day of Operation is August 26, 2024
• First Day of Instruction for Grades 1 through 12 is September 3, 2024
• Kindergarten Staggered Start is set for September 3 to 6, 2024 with the first full day of
class September 10, 2024
• The Four-Year-Old Preschool Program starts September 10, 2024 while the Three-Year-
Old Preschool Program starts September 11, 2024
• Christmas Break is December 23, 2024 to January 4, 2025
• Teachers Convention is February 14 and 15, 2025
• Easter Break is April 14 to 21, 2025
• Last Day of School is June 26, 2025
• Last Day of Operation is June 27, 2025

Three-Year Capital Plan
The Board of Trustees approved the Three-Year Capital Plan including the following as priorities:
Priority One: New School for Light of Christ Catholic School
Priority Two: New High School in Cold Lake
Priority Three: New School for École Notre Dame Elementary
Priority Four: New School for St. Dominic Elementary
The next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for April 24 at Light of Christ Catholic School at 1 p.m. following the Student/Board Engagement Session.
