"I was very fortunate to be able to come back to Lakeland Catholic since when I started, many of my former teachers were still teaching so they became colleagues. I was able to teach and learn with the teachers who inspired me to follow this path. I am now colleagues with some of my former students and hope I am able to do the same." #LCSDJoy

Before graduating from École Notre Dame High, she attend École Notre Dame Elementary and Dr. Bernard Brosseau! "I made the decision to return to Lakeland Catholic District because I wanted to remain close to home. My time within the school system left me with positive memories and a genuine appreciation for the atmosphere. The desire to be a part of that community and contribute to the educational environment led me back to this district. I find fulfillment in being part of an institution that played a significant role in my own development." #LCSDJoy

This From Student to Staff features a familiar face... Rachel Reid! Rachel attended Lakeland Catholic Schools and now serves the division as Principal at École Notre Dame Elementary School! "I chose to return to Lakeland Catholic for many reasons, however, having my family nearby and being able to teach in a Catholic school division, became top priorities in my life. Being able to share God's love with the students and staff of LCSD is a gift and brings a smile to my heart daily. We have another From Student to Teacher feature... Teiha Thompson! Teiha attended Lakeland Catholic Schools in Cold Lake and Bonnyville! She is now a teacher at Holy Cross Elementary! "LCSD has always held a special spot in my heart! I have a lot of great memories from my time at St.Dominic Elementary School as well as Assumption Jr/Sr High School. Having aspired to be a teacher as far back as I can remember, I wanted to return to the district to positively impact students’ lives just like my teachers had done for me. Staying close to my family has been a great bonus too!"
