Inspired by our faith theme of doing small things with great love, our LCSD Early Learning Foundations are intentionally designed to build early literacy, numeracy, confidence, and a love of learning — setting children up for success long before Grade 1.
During your visit, your child will:

🌿 Build early literacy and numeracy skills
🌿 Strengthen fine and gross motor development
🌿 Engage in faith-filled activities rooted in Christ

Across Lakeland Catholic Schools, students gathered to celebrate Shrove Tuesday in joyful community as we prepare our hearts for the season of Lent.
At École Notre Dame High School, staff and students flipped pancakes and delivered them to École Notre Dame Elementary as a meaningful social justice initiative — a beautiful example of doing small things with great love!
At Central Office, Superintendent Germain joined in, flipping pancakes for staff and sharing in fellowship and service.

Together, they took part in a heartfelt beam-signing, placing their names and prayers on the very last steel beam before it was lifted into place — a powerful symbol of faith, hope, and shared commitment surrounding this future K–12 learning space.
With the steel framework now complete, the project enters its next phase, bringing this vision for Catholic education one step closer to reality.
