Mental Health Monday: Digital Challenge.

We wish our LCSD families a fun and safe Easter Break! 🌼

Let’s come together in faith and gratitude, honouring the hope and renewal that Palm Sunday brings. They took branches of palm trees and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! -John 12:13

LCSD has excellence in teaching—and that includes making learning unforgettable!
At Assumption Jr/Sr High School, Amanda Grievson led Science 8 students through a hands-on activity exploring the full process of the digestive system. It got a little messy, but students were fully engaged throughout. A memorable experience they won’t forget anytime soon!

On Friday, March 14, teaching staff across Lakeland Catholic School Division (LCSD) came together to analyze division-wide survey data and academic performance results to celebrate accomplishments and areas of growth. This collaborative session is instrumental in translating data into actionable school-level strategies for growth and improvement.
Using this information, each school will formulate its respective 2025-2026 School Education Assurance Plan, ensuring that school-based strategies align with the division-wide priorities, goals and outcomes. These individualized school plans will be posted by May 31, 2025, providing transparency and our shared commitment to student success.
LCSD recognizes that growth requires action, and significant improvements in the quality of education require intentional strategies, measurable outcomes, and a shared commitment from all stakeholders. By aligning data-driven insights with effective teaching practices and faith-based values, LCSD staff is taking concrete steps toward elevating student achievement and enriching Catholic education across the division.

📣 Big News from LCSD!
Our Education Assurance Plan 2025–2026 is now live!
Built on valuable feedback from parents, students, staff, and community members, this plan reflects both our strengths and the key areas where we will improve. It’s more than a document- it’s a shared commitment to advancing faith-based learning, student achievement, integrated supports, and transparent communication.
🙏 Thank you to all our stakeholders who helped shape this vision. Together, we’re building a stronger future for every student in Lakeland Catholic.
